As part of the overall plan to support the Jewish community, we stablished a building fund that enabled us to place funds into an account to make our new building a reality.
These funds were used as a down payment for our new home. On going donor pledges going to the bulding fund or "Capital Building Fund" now helps sustain the synagogue, make upgrades and repairs.
As Jews we have an obligation to support our Jewish community by supporting our synagogue. It is the only way we can guarantee that each generation will continue to pass the Torah on to the next generation.
It is not enough for our children to know they are Jewish -- they must be Jewish. You don't wait to start supporting your synagogue until you have children of school age and you don't stop supporting your synagogue when your children are grown.

Yahrzeit Memorial
Congregation Beth Shalom can offer an everlasting tribute
to the memory of a dear one. A brass plaque on our memorial board costs
only $360 and can be ordered by contacting Sylvia Tarshis at (951) 735-2006
