Throughout the year, CBS offers a wide variety of social events to enhance the sense of chaverim. Non-members are always welcome to attend and get to know us. Every event features delicious food!

Upcoming Events

• Summer Bash
  Sunday, August 18 from 2 to 6 PM. Join us for a dairy potluck at the home of Obby and Alison Agins, 4020 Royal Vista Circle in Corona. Adults/Kids only $5 per person. Membership drive! Bring potential new families and anyone asking about Hebrew or Religious School. Click here for directions.

Other Events to Look Forward to this Year

• Adult Social Nights
  Held several times a year, the activities vary from bunco nights to deli dinners.
• Bagel Brunches
  Nosh and schmooze.
• Community Seder
  The community seder is held on the second night of Passover. The evening is educational and high spirited. Please check the calendar for yiskor services.
• Dinner in the Sukkah
  Our dairy potluck dinner in the sukkah enables everyone to participate in the mitzvah of eating in the sukkah. This social event is enjoyed by every member of the family.
• Fireworks Picnic
  Enjoy the fireworks display as you enjoy your dairy picnic on the Corona High School football field.
• Hanukkah Bazaar
  What could be better than getting all your holiday shopping done and helping the synagogue at the same time!
• Hanukkah Party
  At our annual Hanukkah party members bring their chanukiot for communal lighting. Latkes overflow, youth participate in making holiday crafts, and a good time is had by all as we remember the Maccabees and celebrate their triumph.
• Interfaith Dinners and Discussions
  Congregation Beth Shalom is a member of the Corona-Norco Interfaith Association. Activities are held throughout the year.
• Kristallnacht Commemeration
  A moving service led by our religious school students.
• New Member Shabbatot
  join us in welcoming our newest members to the congregation.
• Purim Picnic
  Kosher meat BBQ, games and family fun.
• Sukkah Building Party
  Begun shortly after Break the Fast, CBS members build the communal sukkah. Tools required: rubber mallets and a sense of humor.
• Summer Bash
  What better way to spend a Sunday afternoon this summer than at a Pool party and kosher meat BBQ?
• Wine Tasting Event
  Adults enjoy this special day in Temecula.
• Yom HaShoah Program
  Our Holocuast remembrance program varies each year. Past events have included panel discussions and film viewing.
• Youth Game Night
  USY fun and friendship.
