Congregation Beth
Shalom is in the process of constructing a new building, located on a
13 acre site at the corner of California Avenue and Chase Street in Corona.
CBS will be on 2 acres, Corona United Methodist Church (CUMC) will be
5.5 acres, with the remaining 5.5 acres developed as a park.
Co-location allows both facilities to enjoy one parking lot and maximizes
the land usage.

Plan
The new building has been designed to be flexible and to meet
the congregational needs well into the future.
Building
Process
The plan is to develop the site in 2 phases. Phase 1 will be approximately
4500 sq. ft. and consist of the sanctuary/ social hall, classrooms, kitchen,
study and library. The sanctuary/social hall will accommodate about 175
people. Phase 1 will also include a 1600 sq. ft. outdoor deck.
Phase 2 will add an 11,000 sq. ft. building to the site -- a new sanctuary that extends to a separate social hall for large events.
